Hemant Purohit

Hemant Purohit holds a Masters degree focused on urban design from IAAC, Barcelona and over 16 years of work experience.

He has worked in India and Spain with award winning firms – Serie Architects (Mumbai) and Guallart Architects (Barcelona) respectively. His experience spans across master planning (residential & education), infrastructure / transport, luxury residences, and high-end interiors.

As Co-founder of Note-D, he developed and grew the practice as principal designer and head of architecture & operations. The work won recognition as well as awards. As head of education design, with Cannon Design, Mumbai, he led projects ranging from large scale universities, to K-12, IB schools across the country. His proposals won national level competitions for the IITs and other institutions. As Sr. Architect in KAPL, he headed master plan design for residential townships, most notably for Lodha Palava.

He has been teaching for over 11 years at Bachelors and Masters level – at IAAC Barcelona, Balwant Sheth School of Architecture & ISDI, Mumbai. He has been juror for academic and competitive projects frequently. His interest in cities and facades has culminated in large amount of work through studios and workshops he organized.


Kavita Sapkale

Kavita heads the interior design vertical and comes with over a decade of industry experience. She is both a designer and a manager and plays an instrumental role in all projects, setting up their framework, workflow and client engagement. She has an eye for detail, expertise in construction and planning and a knack for understanding client design preferences. She happily manages to lead a large quantum of work. Kavita has worked on a number of these projects since last 8 years.

Abhijeet Nagi

Abhijeet Nagi is an architect and plays an instrumental role in design conceptualization. His creative and visualization skills are a big strength for the office to develop and communicate design concepts. Gifted with multimedia skills Abhijeet likes to work both digitally and manually. Interested in the arts and digital platforms, Abhijeet looks beyond architecture to contribute an overall design argument. He has contributed immensely on Pakona & Viridis Offices, Agarwal House, and a number of in progress design efforts across interiors and architectural scale.


Kashish Mistry

Kashish is an architect and contributes to the out of the box planning ideology of the office, working on various projects and developing spatial ideas to suit specific client needs. Across scales of furniture and spatial plans, Kashish sets up the project language and key initial steps to be developed further. Kashish is also interested in textiles and developing clothes line as well as art works. She has special interest in indigenous construction and design methodologies. She has contributed immensely on Viridis and Esquire amongst other residential and office projects.
