Art District

A public place sans retail is necessary to cultivate a city's new cultural identity and bring back the idea of citizens' occupancy of civic space. A series of buildings are designed to sculpt a courtyard amongst them and creating a continuous, transparent and fluid space that crosses over thresholds between the indoor and outdoor, the public and private ownerships.
